Friends of the Library

Strathcona County Library's "Friends of the Library" is an active group of volunteers who help to organize events and support the library. We're always on the lookout for new members, and we'd love to have you join us!

The Friends of the Library organize several annual fundraising events, including the Heritage Tour and the Water Garden Tour. Find out what events are coming up at Special Events & Fundraisers.

As a "Friend", you'll be invited to the library's annual volunteer luncheon, have preview and first-rights privileges for summer Book Sale events, receive advanced notice of special programs, and meet some great people in support of a great cause!

2012 Friends of the Library Calendar

It is our pleasure to announce that we have a new fundraiser this year - a calendar with photos of host gardens and sponsors from the 2011 Garden Tour.

The cost for the calendars is be $10.00 per copy.
If you wish to have a calendar mailed out to you, there would be an extra cost of $2.00 for postage and shipping for each package. They are also available from the Check-Out Desk.

We hope you will take advantage of these beautiful calendars and purchase them for friends and family and help to raise funds for the continual growth of the Library’s resources.
