Fingerplays & Action Rhymes

The North Wind Doth Blow

The North Wind doth blow,
And we shall have snow,
And what will poor Robin do then?
Poor thing!
He値l sit in a barn,
And keep himself warm,
And hide his head under his wing,
Poor thing!

The North wind doth blow,
And we shall have snow,
And what will the dormouse do then?
Poor thing!
Roll up like a ball,
In his nest snug and small,
He値l sleep 奏il the warm weather comes in
Poor thing!

I知 a Little Snowman
(tune: I知 a Little Teapot)

I知 a little snowman, short and fat.
Here is my nose and here is my hat.
When the sun comes out, I melt away
But when it痴 cold, I知 here to stay.

My Snowsuit

My zipper suite is bunny brown.
(point to chest)
The top zips up,
(draw fingers up from tummy to chin)
The legs zip down.
(draw fingers down leg to ankle)
I wear it every day.
My daddy brought it out from tow.
Zip it up and zip it down,
(draw fingers up from tummy to chin,
then down leg to ankle)
And hurry out and play!
